LINC y Gogledd
What is LINC-y-Gogledd?
LINC-y-Gogledd is a reciprocal borrowing scheme between North Wales’ public libraries and the region’s FE and HE libraries. The scheme includes the public libraries of Gwynedd, Conwy, Anglesey, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham, the libraries of Bangor University, Grŵp Llandrillo Menai and Coleg Cambria as well as Natural Resources Wales’ Library in Bangor.
The Scheme allows for registered library members in the region to borrow materials from partner libraries in one of two ways; Partner Borrowing and Personal Borrowing. Any registered library user within the partnership can request material from participating libraries and have them delivered to their home library for borrowing free of charge.
Personal Borrowing Scheme
You can borrow in person from the university and further education college libraries by filling in a LINC membership form. You will need to have it stamped and verified at your home library and then take it, along with your home library membership card, to the issue desk of the partner library you want to use. You will be issued with a partner library membership card which will allow you to borrow 6 items for 2 weeks.
