Changes to Digital Magazine and Newspaper Access

Pressreader is the new digital magazines and newspapers platform for public libraries in Wales. The service launched on 1st November, and is now available to library users across Wales for the first time.

With the PressReader app or on pressreader.com you can access more than 7,000 of the world’s top publications as soon as they’re available on shelves.

View issues in their original print layouts, read instantly or download for later on your devices. With publications in more than 60 languages and from 120 countries, you can access content from home, and from around the world. From The Daily Post, Evening Post, The Guardian, Forbes, Vogue and Western Mail, PressReader delivers full issues of premium newspapers and magazines instantly.

How to Register

Use your library membership number to register with Pressreader. If you don’t have a library membership, visit your local library or the Join your Library pages on the Libraries Wales website for details.

The Pressreader website and app will be replacing Libby as a provider of digital magazines to public libraries across Wales, and will also be providing access to digital newspapers to library users for the first time.
