Gareth W. Williams, originally from Rhyl, now lives in Nelson, Caerphilly. Now retired, he has worked in the field of education throughout his career. He wrote a novel, Gwenyn (Gwasg Gomer) 25 years ago and turned to writing more seriously after retiring. Gwenyn and his latest trilogy Y Teyrn, Y Llinach and Yr Eryr are all set in the small seaside town of Y Berig, and deal with external threats to Welsh communities. They follow the story of Arthur Goss, a retired detective that wants to get to grips with the true purpose and identity of his community.
