Join the 2025 Summer Reading Challenge Story Garden!

Libraries across Wales are excited to be taking part in this year’s Summer Reading Challenge – Story Garden!

From 5 July to 20 September 2025, children aged 4 to 11 can visit their local library and join in a magical journey celebrating the creative arts and storytelling.

This year’s theme encourages children to read, create, wonder, and express themselves in fun and imaginative ways.

Pick up your starter pack at your local library or join the challenge online at summerreadingchallenge.org.uk to take part from home.

The Reading Agency works in partnership with libraries across Wales to deliver the Summer Reading Challenge, with support from the Welsh Government and the Books Council of Wales.
